The Nitron NTR R3 Coilover Kit is a motorsport-developed suspension system engineered for drivers who demand precise damping control, durability, and adjustability from their M2.

Compatibility:
This kit is designed for the BMW F87 M2 Competition and M2 CS, produced from 2018–2021.

Spring Rate Options – Tuned by Nitron for the F87 M2

These spring rates have been specifically developed for the M2 Competition and CS to deliver maximum grip, control, and composure across both fast road and track environments.

Fast Road Setup

Designed to offer excellent chassis response and comfort on the road, with the flexibility for occasional track use.

  • Front: 120 N/mm

  • Rear (Divorced): 130 N/mm

  • Rear (True Coilover): 70 N/mm

Track Setup

Stiffer rates to suit advanced driving, offering reduced roll and increased chassis stability under high loads.

  • Front: 140 N/mm

  • Rear (Divorced): 160 N/mm

  • Rear (True Coilover): 90 N/mm

    True rear spring rates appear lower due to different mounting ratios and spring positions – overall stiffness is comparable.


Custom Options Available

Custom spring rates, lengths, and damper lengths can be specified. If you have unique setup needs, contact us before ordering and we’ll tailor your kit accordingly.


Optional Quick-Connect Dry Break Fittings (+£895)

For serious users, Nitron offer an upgrade to quick-connect dry break fittings that allow remote reservoirs to be relocated into the cabin or engine bay without fluid loss.

Benefits include:

  • Fast and easy access for fine-tuning

  • Protection from heat and debris

  • Neater, motorsport-style installation

  • Better thermal isolation for consistent damping

    Ideal for competition use or trackday cars requiring frequent adjustments. Contact us to include this option.


Race-Grade Construction and Materials

Nitron's R3 system uses a large-diameter piston, high-pressure nitrogen chamber, and monotube design for accurate, fade-resistant damping performance — ideal for endurance racing, hot-lapping, or repeated circuit use.

Constructed from corrosion-resistant alloys with hard-anodised and titanium finishes, the R3 is built to withstand aggressive conditions while remaining lightweight.


Bi-Axis Hose Fittings (Remote Reservoir Kits Only)

All remote reservoir kits are fitted with Nitron’s Bi-Axis hose fittings, making installation easier and more adaptable to engine bay or interior layouts.
