Girodisc Front Steel Disc Conversion – 410mm – Porsche 991 GT3 / GT3 RS / GT2 RS / 718 GT4 RS

Replace Carbon Ceramics with Confidence

This Girodisc front steel disc conversion kit (also referred to as iron rotors) is a direct replacement for the factory PCCB 410mm carbon ceramic front discs. Ideal for Porsche GT owners who drive hard on track or want to preserve their ceramic setup for future sale, this kit offers improved performance, lower running costs, and better pedal feedback — all while retaining full compatibility with the OEM yellow calipers.

Sold/priced per pair.

Why Convert from PCCB to Steel Discs?

  • Improved thermal resistance for fade-free track performance

  • Sharper pedal feel and brake modulation

  • Reduced long-term maintenance and replacement costs

  • Full compatibility with performance pad compounds like Ferodo DS3.12, Endless ME20/22 or PFC 08/11

🔧 Note: We recommend replacing front and rear discs together. Mixing ceramic rear discs with steel fronts can affect brake balance and performance.

Key Features

  • 2-piece floating steel discs (iron rotors)

  • Lightweight, anodised 6061-T6 aluminium hats

  • Directional curved vane design for optimal cooling

  • 410mm diameter – direct replacement for PCCB fronts

  • Fully CNC machined in the USA

  • Compatible with OEM PCCB calipers and brake lines

  • Ideal for track use, endurance racing, and fast road applications

  • Once the Girodisc kit is installed, you’ll only need to replace the disc/rotor when worn. New hardware is included with replacement discs, and the aluminium bells do not require replacement.

Compatibility

  • Porsche 991.1 / 991.2 GT3

  • Porsche 991.1 / 991.2 GT3 RS

  • Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS

  • Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS

⚠️ Designed specifically for vehicles originally equipped with PCCB carbon ceramic brakes. Not suitable for cars with factory steel discs (see below).
